Boojum were formed in January 2001 and first appeared on the dance scene in April the same year. Our first outing was in Sheffield with the support of another fine Rapper Sword Dance team - 'Snark'.

The team members are drawn from a number of sword dance teams around the country (England) whose only reason for doing this (as if they needed one) is "... in order to party".

Our dances present a mixture of contemporary and traditional figures that have been borrowed, begged, bought and rebranded from other teams and traditions.
